We are looking for an intelligent dynamic person who has a keen interest in yoga & travel, excellent administrative and IT skills, a passion for driving sales & strong skills in marketing to take charge of our yoga reservations, sales and marketing.
To job involves:
Assisting in managerial aspects of our yoga operations
Effective punctual communication with logistics team in Morocco (primarily over email) for optimum arrival and departure of every guest
Effective punctual communication with Villa Mandala manager in Morocco for optimum smooth running of every retreat
Clear understanding of our ethos & services as Morocco’s yoga retreat leader & innovator.
Effective, punctual & friendly email and phone communication with every prospective, present & past client, specifically:
Taking all Yoga Surf Retreat & Guest Teacher retreat bookings (group bookings) & handling all enquires regarding both, in a pleasant manner as an ambassador for us.
A thorough understanding & appreciation of Villa Mandala (our Yoga retreat); its room layout & room availability to maximize holiday sales
To be fully familiar with all our rates, services and packages to maximize sales
To be fully conversant with the (in-house) computer system: Booking Layer.
To have complete understanding of the reservation procedures
To be able to handle last minute reservations and bespoke requests
To be able to understand, update and process payments wherever necessary Maintaining updated spreadsheets, keeping record of client information & special requests to maximize future sales, return bookings & optimize the running of each retreat.
Setting annual retreat schedule: choosing ‘optimum’ retreat dates, (1-2 years in advance)
To keep all cancellations updated
To handle complaints promptly and efficiently
To record return guests for team to remember and welcome as such
To be focused on the needs of the customer and to be sensitive and accommodating to their requests
Assisting in recruitment of yoga teaching team: reading CVs/filing down best applications to maximize efficiency of regular recruitment process
Fluent in written & spoken English (French, German &/or other languages is very useful).
Excellent working knowledge of Word, Excel, Google drive suite, email
An ability & openness to quickly learn new computer systems in training: Booking Layer
To have at least 1 year experience in administration, marketing & sales
To be comfortable and skilled at marketing and selling our accommodation and services according to the needs of the guest
The initiative to follow up enquiries, find new clients & make positive & lasting connections in the vast and growing yoga world to maximize sales
To reply to all email enquires promptly, within 12 hours of receipt.
Could suit a yoga teacher who teaches part time or someone passionately into yoga & hospitality who has a desire to spend a few weeks in Morocco with us each year to experience our retreats first hand for research & to immerse oneself in the fantastic experience.
The candidate may live anywhere in the world to do this job, but ideally fairly close by (so can easily come stay for a 1-3 weeks, 3-4 times a year) or be Morocco based.
