Rancho Margot is located in a lush lakeside valley between rain and cloud forests in Costa Rica. We strive to inspire each visitor to relax and explore ways in which they can incorporate the concept of sustainability into their own lives.
Volunteers are provided with 3 meals and room in the Bunkhouse, comprised of 20 dorms and shared bathrooms, each room for 2 people with a bunk bed.
Three typical Costa Rican meals will be provided each day. A typical meal includes: rice, grains (lentils, beans, chickpeas), vegetables, salad, a meat dish and a natural drink. Meals are served buffet-style.
Responsibilities of the yoga instructor during this time may include:
Usually teach 1 class per day, 6 days a week.
Maintenance of the Yoga Center.
Additional responsibilities on the ranch may include helping 2-3 hours in the following areas (we’ll consider each person’s skills and interest):
o Organic gardens
o The kitchen (serving, assisting in food prep)
o Social Media
Volunteers are required to have a travel insurance during the time being at the ranch.
