Greetings:
Urgently seeking inspired, self-motivated substitute teacher(s) to lead ninety (90) minute gentle and all-levels Hatha  yoga classes  in our boutique studio.  Please contact us if you can instruct any of the above scheduled times. Located in a diverse, family oriented neighborhood with excellent public transport options (bus, BART, metro, bike, drive, walk) in and out of the city.

Our philosophy of yoga blends science and spirituality, free from dogma, or religion.  Yet, we stick to traditional hatha practices; we do not use music or heat. Emphasis is put on proper breathing, while holding asanas in stillness. Special attention given to pranayama techniques, (guided) meditation and (at least) a three minute savasana at the end. Practices are closed & sealed by chanting– aum in seated mudra.

Substitutes must be able to personally instruct/ teach the specific schedule provided.   You are required to fully commit to the predetermined instruction times. We are very open to discussing the city and our business’ expectations to make sure we have a good match, for all.

Requirements & Professional skills:
RYT-200, Registered Yoga Alliance instructor
Previous yoga instructing experience after certification
One- three years preferred, along with several continuing education credits.
Managerial experience a plus.
*Must have dependable commute/ transportation to San Francisco for the duration of agreement.
Ongoing, current private practice required.
CPR/AED certification.

Compensation/*TBD: Suggested,  flat rate $25 per class/  TBD walk-ins   *Exclusions and restrictions may apply
