We offer yoga-sailing holidays in Croatia on a beautiful Split to Split itinerary. The itinerary includes some of the best destinations that Croatia has to offer, including Croatia’s most famous beach; Zlatni Rat on Bol, the magical Pakleni Islands and the Blue and Green the Caves! (weather permitting). There are plenty of hidden gems on the journey and we promise, the trip will be like nothing you’ve ever done before!
Our Croatian itinerary is like no other; you will have the choice of sessions at various times of the day, including sunrise meditation, mid-morning yoga and sailing. We will be in a bay or port in time to explore the islands by foot or scooter and there’s always time for a glass of wine, swimming and mouth-watering local fresh fish and grilled vegetables.
Yoga classes are an hour long in some of the most breath taking settings you’ve ever seen, dotted around the Croatian coastline. You will also have time to explore world famous islands, such as Hvar where you can wander the streets, explore the old castle or enjoy sunset cocktails.
What’s expected from you?
As we’re on a sailing boat, space is limited and we have up to 6 guests and 2 crew (you and the skipper) The skipper has his hands full, almost at all times and requires support from you with the provisioning, helping in the kitchen and the tidying up.
The job is NOT strictly a yoga instructor role, as there is only 1 hour of yoga a day, 15 minutes of guided meditation a day.
You’ll need to be able to take the group on the boat through a 7 day program of yoga and guided meditation. This is the core of your responsibilities, but not your only responsibilities.
The meditation and yoga takes up a small portion of the day, so following the class we need you to take on the role of the hostess. This entails preparing a simple, healthy lunch (often with a vegetarian option) and after the meal, tidying up the dishes. Easy. We even have most of the provisions brought directly to the boat and provide a weekly menu and recipes.
After the required tasks have been completed, you’re free to enjoy the rest of the day, just as the guests do so you can swim, sun-bake, rest and enjoy the town when we dock also. We’re in the business of fun so we hope the crew are enjoy themselves too!
