Today I, Aleks Glitzeric, am not having any guest with me but sharing my personal experience and tips on how to get teaching opportunities as a new teacher and also how to get out of your comfort zone. This podcast is for you if you finally want to start to teach but also get out of your box and start thinking more creatively when it comes to creating classes and workshops.
This podcast is made for you to learn something new, feel inspired and also connect with yoga communities further than just your hometown. So please feel free to share with us in the comments below your takeaways and also if you know someone who inspires you and you would like to hear them in a future episode – please send me an e-mail to email@example.com.
I’m called Aleks – 2013 I fell in a deep sadness, questioning my whole life and sense of it. I didn’t only discover meditation but also my scariest fears in a very painful relationship. After an offline trip in Brazil and shaking on the train station in Zurich – where everyone seemed stressed out – I felt completely out of place and knew: My inner flow isn’t that fast and I can’t push myself anymore. So I quit my job as a Community Manager for Yelp Zurich, sold all my clothes and left with a one-way ticket to Bali.
Today I’m teaching Empowerment Yoga & Workshops, giving ThetaHealings and writing all around the world – I see many new teachers being shy and scared to teach and that’s why I felt called to share my own tips and thoughts on that topic in the hope to inspire you to teach – since our world needs more mindful yoga teachers. 🙂 Let’s connect on Instagram or offline in Prague or Zurich!
Next Thursday I’ll talk with wonderful colorful Nora from Yoga Nora which not only teaches SUP & Vinyasa classes but also spreads positivity and plant-based food inspiration on Social-Media but actually creates beautiful workshops at Hiltl (the oldest vegetarian restaurant in the world!) where you can also learn how to prepare healthy food for yourself. With her husband she invented “athleticflow” and you’ll meet her this summer on the lake of Zurich and the Wanderlust Festival.
And now tune in via SoundCloud (you can download it and listen offline) and listen to my, Aleks, tips and experiences on how to start teaching and gain experience as a new teacher. In future, we’ll be also happy to offer our podcast on iTunes, and GooglePlay – if there is any other place you’d like to listen to us, just let us know (firstname.lastname@example.org).
PS. If you missed our last three podcasts, please tune in here and get inspired!
