Podcast Episode #2: The real honest Talk with Heidi Michelle from dragonflyoga.com

I’m so grateful to share today’s second podcast episode and the wisdom of my teacher Heidi Michelle with all of you. It’s all about living in integrity with your values, being mindful, how yoga saved her during her depression, living yoga and teaching peace in the crazy world we live in!

This podcast is made for you to learn something new, feel inspired and also connect with yoga communities further than just your hometown. So please feel free to share with us in the comments below your takeaways and also if you know someone who inspires you and you would like to hear them in a future episode – please send me an e-mail to aleks@yogatraveljobs.com.

Heidi Michelle is an amazing teacher (I took my YTT with her and it was magical!) and if you feel inspired and called to either come to one of her mindful vinyasa or SUP classes in Reno or immerse with her on a nature yoga teacher training journey in the Costa Rican jungle, I can highly recommend it to you. Please get inspired on her Facebook, Instagram, and blog where she just recently wrote about yoga, anxiety, and depression.

In our first podcast episode, I was talking with Deddou from popupyoga.ch and it was all about creating cooperations and your own yoga brand but also how to handle all the marketing and PR stuff.

Next Thursday Marta will be my guest and we’ll talk about yoga as medicine, how she left her busy job in London and went to India for a YTT and now is teaching in an Ayahuasca Temple in the Peruvian jungle.

And now tune in via SoundCloud (you can download it and listen offline) and listen to Heidi Michelle’s wisdom on living in integrity with your values. In future, we’ll be also happy to offer our podcast on iTunes, and GooglePlay – if there is any other place you’d like to listen to us, just let us know (aleks@yogatraveljobs.com).

Hi! I’m called Aleks. 2013 I fell in a deep sadness, questioning my whole life and sense of it. I didn’t only discover meditation but also my scariest fears in a very painful relationship. After an offline trip in Brazil and shaking on the train station in Zurich - where everyone seemed stressed out - I felt completely out of place and knew: My inner flow isn't that fast and I can't push myself anymore. Freedom, depth & authenticity is what my soul needed – so I quit my job as Community Manager for Yelp Zurich in 2015, sold all my pretty clothes, went to the city office and just signed out off. It all started by craving a big change, reconnecting back to my intuition and radically honest answering the questions: What do you really want? How do you feel? What can you do to make these changes happen? Today I’m traveling with my love Adam and I keep exploring my inner depths. Love, Aleks
