I’m 38 years old and had a blooming career in communications and press. However, I overworked and found myself in a hospital bed from exhaustion. I had to relearn how to dress myself, take shower and to eat proper food. At first I found this to be a failure but after a time I realised it was a blessing. I’m now living a different life. I want to become a harmonious and loving person. Someone who gives back and helps. I started doing yoga and study nonviolent communication. I just finished finished a 200 RYT Yoga allience teacher training in Anahatha yoga. A yoga that focuses on the opening of the heart and finding love for oneself and through that love for others. I’m looking for opurtunities to use my yoga training and to help where I can.when i found the women’s empowerment project it just felt perfect. My former carrear constituted working with and promoting women’s rights, as the press officer for the chair of the European Parliaments women’s rights committee. I would love to use those skills to help promote a project such as this through any means available; social media, advertising, press releases, press invites etc. I have a bachelors degree in Women’s studies
