Description
I setup YogaKind because I fell in love with yoga when I was 21 and went on a yoga and wellness retreat in Scotland with my sister and dad. On the retreat we all had such an amazing time and by the end of it, I knew that one day I would become a yoga teacher. My dream came true.
Here are a few reasons I love yoga, and absolutely love teaching it as well:
I love that anyone can do it, anytime, anywhere.
I love that it can be challenging but also feel like a dance.
I love that you can complete a class, yet not have done any of the poses to their full extent.
I love that there is so much room to grow and learn.
I love that you can see progress each time.
I love that it makes you more aware of your breathing.
I love that it’s graceful but can be hardcore as well.
I love that everyone is working together, yet at their own pace.
I love that you can do it when you’re excited, tired, angry, or sad and that you feel lighter afterwards.
I love the way your body and mind feel strong and calm.
I love that it makes you laugh especially when you fall out of a balance pose (for the hundredth time) .
I love that it’s thousands for years old but still relevant and incredibly useful now.
I love the community feel of a class.
I love that it ends in sleep (a deep relaxation).
