Hi,
I’m Astrid, 29 years old from the Netherlands. I have been practicing yoga since 10 years and teaching since 5. I started with my 200-hour teacher training with Rishikesh Yog Peeth. A wonderful, enriching experience. It all started from there. After that I soon started studying Yoga Therapy at the international Yoga Therapy Institute in Amstelveen. An 800-hour studies.
I have always been creative and love drawing, photography and most of all painting. Understanding and studying the huge health benefits of expressing oneself creatively, I started studying Art Therapy. Making a link between Art and Yoga therapy I created my own therapeutic method. Launching my own business in 2020, under my name Astrid Helena. I lead retreats, workshops and work one one one with clients.
Teaching and practicing yoga is an unmissable part of my life, as well as making art. Sharing these both things, is my calling in life. It makes me extremely happy and grateful.
