I’m an experienced, WYA qualified Akhanda and Vinyasa yoga instructor. The Akhanda Yoga approach emphasizes a balanced class including a full repertoire of yoga techniques. All Akhanda Yoga classes are structured systematically yet artfully to align the physical, energetic, mental/emotional and intuitive self through the five elements of practice and the five energetic principles. Akhanda Yoga has a variety of class styles for different times of day, inclinations and purposes: Akhanda for Beginners, Intermediate and Dynamic, Five Koshas, Inner Reprogramming, Hatha-Raja, and Classical Kundalini.
As a teacher and individual I have a soulful and down to earth approach and seek to create playful yet challenging classes adapted, always, to participant level and any injuries.
I have taught Akhanda yoga in various locations including Yemaya in Ecuador, for 8 months from July 2014 and at Moun Zion in Brazil for 6 months from February 2015. I took a break from massage and yoga teaching during my time in Colorado (Locavore) due to a shoulder injury however I resumed teaching upon my return to the UK and now run my own classes on a tri-weekly basis.
