25 years ago, whilst working as an Intellectual Property Lawyer, I was hit by a car whilst cycling, which left me unable to walk, speak, see or even smell. The accident left me with continuous migraines and back seizures which made life very hard for myself and my family.
Through physiotherapy and Astanga yoga, I slowly recovered by building my core strength and improving my flexibility. After regaining my strength and ability to move again, I focused on finding a solution to my migraines and to become the healthiest I could be.
I became interested in movement and the human body and this started my passion for Yoga, Health, Nutrition and Medicine which led my move away from the Legal Profession to completing a second BSc in Health and many other degrees and diplomas and to founding a Health Company, which I have run for the past 11 years. I now do this along with teaching various subjects (including yoga) on YTTs and retreats.
