Description
Harriet is currently seeking work exchanges teaching yoga for an upcoming trip to Central America.
Passionate about movement from a young age, Harriet was a competitive track and field athlete and dancer in her teens, before finding yoga in her 20s. Working under pressure in healthcare, yoga was the perfect escape, and soon Harriet realised her yoga mat was where she felt the most at home and free to express herself.
Her teaching style is fluid, intuitive and creative, whilst remaining grounded in breath and structured around classical poses. Having worked extensively with people living with pain as a pharmacist, Harriet has a deep understanding of physiology, which pushes her to devise classes that encourage a sustainable practice balancing strength and mobility. Being part of the yoga community gives Harriet the greatest sense of fulfilment. She reminds her students that If you are moving, breathing and smiling, you are doing yoga!
