I am the co-founder of AcroTerra A.C. in Mexico; an initiative that seeks to reconnect people with themselves and with nature through yoga, permaculture, deep ecology, natural movement, acroyoga and ancestral wisdom. A yoga practitioner for 10 years and yoga teacher for 8 years, professor of Acroyoga and Coach in Conscious Eating. I have created my own yoga system called Mindful Primal Yoga where i integrate my experience and wisdom of yoga, sacred ceremony, sustainability and natural body movement, to empower, heal and transform our own lives and find sustainable lifestyles. I am also the founder of Primal Barefoot Movement, which is a project in its beginnings that aims to provide practical strategies to implement the practice of earthing as well as its benefits, to go barefoot and restablish our connection with the earth. I have completed a Master’s Degree in Sustainability and a Sustainability, Eco-Yoga, Deep Ecology program at the Metta Earth Institute in Vermont. Together with my husband Alan Monroy we have taken our AcroTerra initiative to International Conservation Congresses in Australia and Hawaii. I am a member of NatureForAll. a global movement to inspire people to reconnect with nature and take action for its conservation, as well as Yoga for Nature Ambassador in México, a global yoga community that advocates for the environment and human rights.
