Description
Growing up in a household where headstands were typically the norm thing to perform as a party trick (My mum- who by the way is my yogi inspiration, spent most of her time upside down) and also having a background in musical theatre dance and breakdance, I always thought yoga would be….well a bit slow and to be honest easy. Wow Well after my first hot yoga class I found out how wrong I was YOGA IS NOT EASY! But it sparked something deep in me, I felt calmer, happier and I didn’t feel judged or competitive (years of dancing made this the natural feeling ) and at the same time I wanted to be better and do better for myself, mind and body! I had lit that creative flame and my love for yoga grows and inspires me daily!
I lead Vinyasa flow classes that incorporate both Yin and Yang elements to nurture the balance we are all seeking.
After training in Rishikesh, New York and Thailand I found a respect and love for how different we are and our yoga journey paths are so I began to teach fun and exciting classes to children in schools, children and adults with special needs, assisted and chair based yoga and people with injuries.
I would say My main aim and goal is to make yoga accessible to everyone, I want to inspire and teach people the tools to bring balance to their mind and body and to feel that light hearted and refreshed feeling when they step off the mat.
Love you all big
