I came to Yoga after a tragic event. I was all over the place and desparately needed something that could make me stronger inside out. Yoga, at first, was thought to be a temporary solution; turned out to be one of my most rewarding choices in life.
I found joy, friendships, a loving community, and more importantly, the humility and desire to continue my learning journey, as a student and an instructor.
I have been trying many kinds of yoga in my three years of practicing: Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Kundalini, Power Yoga, Anusara. However, I found myself enjoy Hatha and Anusara which embrace slow movement and focus on deeper sensation of body and mind.
Finished YogaWorks Teacher Training had somehow put things into perspective. I can see more clearly what I have to do to become a better student and teacher. I have received so much from yoga and I feel so happy that I am now have the ability and the confidence to give back.
