I have recently moved back to Ireland, after having graduated from the University of Bath with a second-class honours upper division (2:1) BA French, Italian and European Studies (History, Politics, Culture and Literature of Europe). I grew up in seven countries so I adapt to new environments easily, while spending three years in France and one year in Sicily, I am very comfortable with my languages in both formal and informal settings. I am very open-minded, practice daily yoga and strive to be positive in all situations.

I would be so grateful for the opportunity to come work for you. I am available anytime from mid-April 2019 and will be a qualified 200H yoga instructor from then. I will be completing a world-renowned 200 Hour, one-month intensive Teacher Training Course (TTC) that is internationally accredited with Yoga Alliance U.S, Yoga Alliance Professionals UK, Yoga Alliance International, The World Yoga Council and the International Yoga Federation at the Himalaya Yoga Valley Centre in Goa, India March – April 2019. For the last 6 months I have been practicing yoga at their school in Cork and Ballincolig, Ireland 4-6 times a week and before that I had been practicing yoga every single day for the last two years with Yoga with Adriene on Youtube. I have a real passion for yoga which I know will pair wonderfully with my passion for teaching so have no doubt that, although I don’t have much yoga teaching experience, I will bring all of the positive energy to classes, taking care for each student’s individual needs.
I have been giving informal classes to my elderly neighbours (they are in their late 70s and are incredible!) and my young cousins (from the age of 5 upwards) every weekend for the last 6 months.
I have always been confident teaching independently as I currently have my own online tutoring business, where I teach students all over the world via Skype. This business stems from my Twitter account where I teach French online to over 24,000 followers. I have been a passionate teacher for the last 10 years now – I had believed languages were my calling but realise now, I just needed this knowledge of how to make learning fun for when I discovered my real passion – Yoga. My love of yoga developed in 2016 while I was working abroad as the personal assistant to the Duchess of Palma in Palermo, Sicily. The more I practiced, the more I learnt to quieten my mind, the more I learnt about myself. Every lesson on the yoga mat, was a lesson I took into life challenges; how to deal with frustration, anger, sadness. All of my negative reactions began to sieve through, to gratitude and thankfulness, creating a positive outlook no matter the situation. This took time though – and daily practice, but I am so thankful to yoga, for changing every aspect to my life, for raising me to a more empathetic level, that I wish to share that enjoyment with everyone else through teaching.
This love of teaching just emphasises the incredible journey that I have been on over the last two years, understanding myself and my life experiences and really becoming aware of the divine guidance that has constantly been behind me in both negative and positive experiences, helping me bloom into the person I am today, always learning and shifting and growing.
I am half Sicilian, half Irish, but born in Zimbabwe. I grew up in seven different countries so now easily adapt to new environments and understand what it takes to make other people feel comfortable so I strive to deliver that in my everyday life. Being a people person means that I have a passion for delivering happiness to others through my own positive energy. This universal upbringing means I speak three languages at a fluent level; French, Italian and English (I graduated with French, Italian and European Studies from the University of Bath in 2018).
I am a vegan and love cooking so would just relish in the opportunity to put my cooking skills to use and am always eager to learn. While I was working in Sicily, for the Duchess of Palma, Nicoletta Polo ( www.butera28.it ) , I assisted in cooking classes so have a good knowledge of cuisine. In this position I gained an immense amount of hospitality experience. For nine months while living in Sicily in 2016-17, I helped Nicoletta with her fourteen luxury holiday apartments within her palace that she rented out. I was responsible for replying to emails, organising bookings and travel, taking payment, greeting guests on check-in and taking them to their room. As well as giving them information on and tours of Palermo, making dinner reservations and taxi bookings (in all three languages) and making sure their stay was comfortable and they had everything that they needed upon check-out.
Although not professionally trained, my mother used to be a masseuse and has taught me a lot so I am also proficient in back massages. Where I may lack experience, I make up for in my drive and ambition to learn and grow.
Furthermore, I am a self-taught guitarist, singer-songwriter and have performed at a number of venues and festivals, often for charity so will never be phased speaking to an audience of a class. I have also attached my professional CV, although the corporate style of it does not reflect who I am. I hold an EU passport (Irish) and I have a full driver’s license. I am in the process of setting up a website but my personal Instagram is : www.instagram.com/biancacassandrap
I believe I would make the most of this opportunity and would be grateful to be considered. Thank you very much for your time. I hope to hear back from you soon.
