Are you a registered yoga teacher? Are you looking for a unique experience in one of Canada‘s most beautiful provinces? Are you interested in helping to build a brand-new Glamping business focussed on wellness, nature and adventure?

If so, we have an amazing opportunity for you! We are looking for a yoga instructor to teach classes in Vinyasa, Yin, and or hatha styles to our guests. Additionally, if you are interested in guiding either kayak, SUP or nature experiences we will provide training & certification (Paddle Canada) for you to do so. You will receive 30% of the fees (+100% of tips) for any group classes or tours that you teach and 50% (+ 100% of tips) for any private yoga classes.

We also need help around the resort with customer service, housekeeping, landscaping and gardening, and some childcare for our two children. This is a Monday to Friday job with weekends off (unless you choose to run tours/classes to earn extra money- your choice!) to explore our beautiful island!

This is both a work exchange and paid opportunity. You will be given accommodations in one of our unique, hand-painted Mongolian yurts with access to the amenities of the resort (yoga yurt, communal kitchen and bathroom facilities, etc). Part of the job requires occasional caring for our two independent children (age 7 & 10) and making them lunch (which you can also eat). Our kids will be attending summer camp for at least 6 weeks so those weeks will be more focussed on resort work and gardening. You will also be welcome to join our family for supper to save on the cost of meals. In addition to room and board, you will receive a weekly stipend of $250.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are only looking for Canadian-based instructors with preference to those in Atlantic Canada. If you are required to quarantine we will provide quarantine accommodations and support. We are looking for an applicant to start mid June and ideally stay on with us until after labour day, although we can be a bit flexible.
