I completed a 200-hour hatha and vinyasa teacher training in Monchique. The certification is internationally recognised by Yoga Alliance. The course was an 18-day fully immersive experience. Not only did I learn about the philosophy of yoga, teaching techniques and the alignment of asanas, but I learned so much about myself and it allowed me to deepen my own practice. Yoga has brought me so much joy and connected me with so many beautiful people. It is my dream to share this joy and connection with others.

-
O2 Aspen is a yoga studio, spa and activewear store where I worked part-time during the ski season in Colorado. I was in charge of managing bookings for the spa and yoga studio as well as assisting customers in the store. I was grateful to be able practice regularly at the studio during my off-time and to learn from the incredible instructors who worked there and guided me at that point in my yoga journey.

-
I also worked part-time as a ski concierge during my time in Aspen Colorado. I was responsible for organising ski rental equipment for high-end customers of the Hotel Jerome. Interacting with customers from all over the world expanded my knowledge of cultural etiquette. It also helped me to refine my interpersonal skills and taught me how to create a seamless customer experience.

-
Copper Club is an up-market restaurant in Cape Town. I worked part-time at the front-of-house welcoming, seating, serving and preparing the cheque for tables. The restaurant required waitrons to be very knowledgeable of the food menu and wine list in order to advise upper-end diners and demonstrate exemplary customer service.
