Description
My movement practice began when I was introduced to ballet at age 7. I went on to train in many styles of dance, before discovering the holistic benefits of yoga that captured my spirit. Taking time for myself, to show my mind and body some gratitude, completely transformed my life.
After a mental health crisis left me feeling completely at a loss, I turned to yoga. Along with the medical care I received, it became an integral part of my recovery and remains a vital practice for me, both on and off the mat. The guidance yoga provides for physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing has huge value – and discovering this ultimately led me to train as a teacher after a career in marketing, copywriting and community work.
My goal is to provide a nourishing and safe space for yogis to be completely present in the moment. The physical body is one element of yoga – but cultivating the environment of smell, sound and sensation to enrich the experience for the mind and soul is equally important to my practice. I am lucky enough to teach studio classes, corporate groups and one-to-ones across London and online.
My classes honour the origins of yoga, incorporating Pranayama (breathing), Asanas (physical poses) and more to create a holistic practice to benefit students. Class is a judgement-free space – I aim to empower students to practise to where they’re comfortable and take whatever it is they need from my offerings. Unwind, take a moment for yourself and flow with me!
I love to travel and have been lucky enough to practice yoga and adventure across the world – I can’t wait to see where is next, to learn about new cultures, collaborate, create community and spread the joy of yoga!
