I started yoga in 2001when I was a university student. After moving from the countryside, I was very lucky to have discovered yoga as an exercise which I can do in a tiny apartment in Tokyo. Soon after I started practicing yoga, I found that it makes me physically and mentally stable. The comfortableness was not the same as the other exercises could bring me. So, I started to take classes in studios in Tokyo and United States to learn Yoga more in depth.
I met my teacher Tetsuya Yamada in 2015 and finished his Yoga Teacher Training in the next year. I’ve trained with Jonas Westring since 2017 and have practiced Anusara style yoga. I’m a student of Vedic philosophy and meditation practitioner as well.
For me, Yoga is a great tool for exploring yourself. It is not only an exercise but being respectful to yourself. In my class, with the movements and meditations, you can expect refresh your body and mind.
