Description
I am a vegetarian retreat chef and kitchen coordinator for hire with 25 years of experience organizing and cooking for groups of all types and sizes. I am also available for consultation, menu planning, cooks training, travel and more.
In the late 90’s, I began cooking vegetarian cuisine, and soon branched out into other cooking styles and dietary frameworks: including meat, vegan, raw and gluten free dishes. I have also studied nutrition, healing foods and herbs and specializes in vegetarian comfort whole food meals inspired by dishes from around the world.
In California, I was a Head Cook in the kitchen at Heartwood Institute, a healing arts school in Garberville, before I moved back to my home state of Vermont and was the Kitchen Coordinator and Head Chef at Common Ground Center for 10 years. I then ran the kitchens at Farm and Wilderness Camps for two summers before starting the hot lunch program at The Schoolhouse Learning Center in South Burlington.
In 2015 I stated my own business, Blossom Whole Food Kitchen and Catering, where I have been a chef for hire ever since. My work usually includes many retreats, personal chef gigs, plant based cooking experiences, themed event dinners and meal deliveries to businesses.
